To install the IC200ALG260, a 24 V power supply must connect to A17 and 18 to function. Additionally, LED indicators are standard for this module. Each of these allows the user to know if a problem has occurred and correct that issue quickly. The IC200ALG260 offers eight words of analog input data and reports the under and over range, open wire, loss of power, non-volatile memory fault, and high or low alarm diagnostics. However, additional software configurable parts include per channel selection of 4-20mA current or +/- 10 V voltage inputs, selectable input filter, and pre-channel selection of default values and under/over range levels. In current mode, it may be necessary to supply a separate power supply for isolated inputs. This module also provides input data with 16 bits of resolution for these devices. The analog input module has eight isolated inputs as part of an intelligent module that can accept input signals from up to eight separate analog devices.
